Your profile
In this role you will work closely with our operations department to gain practical experience in financial accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The role is based around our Berlin office, there will be flexible working but you will be expected to be available in Berlin for the majority of time - This allows you to become part of our team quickly and get deep insights into a fast-growing tech start-up from day one.
Your responsibilities
Accounting (Month End Disclosures)
Cooperate with tax accountants on a regular basis
Prepare bills and other documents for tax accountant together with office management
Assist with the management of accounts receivables and payable
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Monitor and update the Budget
Monitor and update our cash flow plan
Financial reporting and KPIs
Finance Controlling
Your Profile / What You'll Need
Currently enrolled, or just graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
You want to understand and learn the practical side of financial accounting
Bonus: Relevant work experience, ideally in a generalist finance role in a start-up or SME
Familiar with the language of P&Ls, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flows
Proficiency in spreadsheet software for business models (Excel, Google Sheets)
Experience with BI tool Tableau is a plus
You are a good communicator; experience with cooperating with stakeholders
Excellent English and German skills
